Housing

KIU is conveniently located in the heart of a university housing area serving several large local universities. There are many student apartments available within walking and cycling distance of KIU, shopping areas and mass transit systems.

At present, Kyoto International University does not provide accommodation for students. However, KIU is willing to assist students in finding and securing housing.

Accommodations and pricing vary widely with area rental prices starting at JPY40,000/monthly.  Students should expect to pay about US$2,000 for room and board per trimester.
