Scholarships
Kyoto International University has a scholarship program in order to
encourage academic excellence and to give students who have a financial
need an opportunity to acquire a university education. Students who
demonstrate exceptional academic achievement will also be considered for
scholarships in order to encourage their studies.
Types of Scholarships
- Academic Scholarships
- Academic scholarships are available for students of sophomore
standing or above who have demonstrated academic excellence,
individual integrity, initiative, service to school and community,
and leadership potential, and for students with a Grade Point
Average over 3.85. Annual application is necessary. Freshmen are not
eligible for academic scholarships.
- Ministerial Dependent Award
- Available for children of ministers and missionaries.
- Financial Need
- Students in financial need (whose household has a combined annual
income of less than 5 million yen) are eligible. Annual application
is necessary.
