Train Guide

Here is a list of approximate time to KIU Academy from several station locations.

By Kintetsu Kyoto Line (Shintanabe Station):
     KIU is 23 minutes from Kyoto.
     KIU is 20 minutes from Nara.

By JR Gakken-toshi Line (Kyotanabe Station):
     KIU is 39 minutes from Kyobashi.
     KIU is 47 minutes from Osaka.

Road Map

By Foot:

• Follow the main road through town going east (toward the Kizu River).
• Right after the intersection in front of Tanabe Junior High School, veer right (where the former ESSO station was located).
• Cross the Bouga River and continue to follow the road to KIU (about 500 meters).

15 minutes from Kintetsu Shintanabe Station.
20 minutes from JR Kyotanabe Station.

By Car:

• From Keinawa Expressway's Tanabe Nishi Interchange, it takes 5 minutes by car.
  • Stay on Route 307 and look for the KIU sign on the left .
  • Turn left to the north about 50 meters after the sign. (The road is 300m before the Yamashiro Ohashi bridge.)
  • Follow the road north to KIU.
• From Route 24, it takes less than 5 minutes by car.
  • Turn west and cross over the Yamashiro Ohashi bridge.
  • Stay on Route 307 for 300m (passed Osaka Siren) and turn right to the north.
  • Follow the road north to KIU.
• Visitor Parking is available in the parking lot in front of the school.
