Principal: Richard W. Myers University of Phoenix, M.A.Ed. University of Wyoming, B.S. Secondary Science Education, 1987; B.S. Botany, 1985; B.S. Wildlife Management and Conservation, 1983 14 years of teaching experience in public and private schools in Colorado

Dear Parents,

As principal, I want to say “Thank you” for expressing an interest in KIU Academy.  It has been my pleasure to see the school continue to grow and work toward fulfilling its mission.  As we continue to strive toward excellence, we can be confident that we are providing the best possible education we can for our students.

As our mission and vision state, we want to focus on excellence, doing all that we can to help our students develop into people of excellence.  We strive to accomplish this in every aspect of their lives: mental, physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual.  As a Christian school, we believe that all people are created in the image of God and that He has a purpose for their lives.  We believe that the Bible, God’s Word, provides us with a solid foundation to help grow and fulfill the purpose for which they were created. These are the foundational beliefs that each teacher and staff at KIU Academy has. These beliefs also direct and guide what we do, including integrating Biblical principles in our classes, helping students solve interpersonal issues, and more.
