Recognition and Accreditation

Recognition

In April 2003, KIU as an organization was recognized as a non-profit school "Kakushu-gakkou" by the Kyoto prefectural government. As for KIU Academy, this recognition applies to the High School.

Accreditation

As of June 2010, KIU Academy is in the final stages of the accreditation process with Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), an organization whose accreditation is recognized in Japan.

Affiliation

Since 2000, KIU Academy has been a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
