Professional Biography
Connie Nott is a Professor of International Business at Kyoto International University and teaches classes in accounting and economics. Dr. Nott also teaches at Troy University. Her research interests are in the area of complex systems (physical and information) as well as data analysis and decision support systems and simulations. She has been recognized for excellence in both teaching and research. Outside of the classroom, Dr. Nott has extensive university administrative experience and has also launched several successful entrepreneurial ventures. She currently serves on the board of directors for both profit and not-for-profit organizations and is a certified public accountant in Colorado.

Industry Involvement
Dr. Nott has provided a wide variety of tax, accounting and management information system advisory services. Her corporate experience and consulting engagements have spanned diverse business sectors including, but not limited to, the oil, airline, telecommunications as well as software and data warehousing industries. She maintains active professional memberships in the Allied Academies, the Decision Sciences Institute, International Management Association and several simulation and computing associations.
Service / Interests
Dr. Nott’s serves as a member of the board of directors for USA Federal Credit Union and the Center for Community Solutions in San Diego, California.
