Biology Department

Biological Science Major

The biology department reflects the diversity of modern biological research. Students will learn to understand the complex world of organisms-their functions and environments. They will also acquire an overall understanding of botany, zoology, genetics and ecology in addition to gaining an in-depth understanding of their chosen field of emphasis.

Students planning to enter graduate school should consult with their advisor regarding the requirements for specific graduate programs in Japan or the U.S.
